adventure racing at it's best! 12-hours or 36-hours of continuous adventure racing through some of the most rugged and beautiful land in the
Midwest.
WHERE: The National Park Service's
Big Spring Park, near Van Buren, MO. A beautiful spot for adventure
racing with plenty of steep and rugged terrain, beautiful spring-fed rivers and miles of backwood forests.
WHEN: September 27-28, 2008
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the 12-hour and 36-hour courses.
The 2008 Berryman Adventure will take teams through the beautiful and rugged mountains of the Ozarks. Teams of four and two
will use their skills, their endurance, and their determination to help push themselves through this grueling course.
As in the past, the top three 4-person coed teams of this year's Berryman Adventure 36-hour course will qualify for the 2008 USARA
Adventure Racing National Championship. This year's National Championship will be held in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern Georgia.
The Berryman Adventure will be a part of the
Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series. The 36-Hour course will utilize Checkpoint Tracker, an online leaderboard application that will
allow your friends and family to watch your team's progress during the race!
